It overused made up words and that took away from the story as a whole. One other thing is that the magic felt useless save one or two minor successes.
We need more games like these
Played it a couple times without background knowledge on it's lore, but read up on it after remembering it was a good game and grew to love this world that's been crafted. Highly recommend reading the lore on the world a bit before diving in
Really want a sequel to this!
A very interesting written plot although I think it best if the wordings were...a little bit simpler? Nevertheless, it makes the reader, me, to want to read more of this. So, I wish to ask, will there be a second part of this? Can anyone tell me the name if there is a second volume of this story?
widh there was more
Great game and a great primer of Tekumel
Good. Could have been better. The setting was neat but the story wasn't. Although you could characterize your main character pretty interestingly.
I can't wait for the next book!
Perhaps it's just me, but I found it incredibly difficult to become immersed in this game, due almost solely to the dialogue. I appreciate the authenticity the author tried to create, but they used so many made up or unknown words, I found myself having to stop every few pages to look something up. I gave up on it, without beating it.
